    FRONT END SUBMISSIONS – SUBMIT EVENT – QUESTIONS

    I would very much like to be able to modify the content and options on the Front End submission page. I think that is a much needed feature.

    Examples to add would be:

    1. Change Check Boxes to a Drop Down or Type In with Auto Suggest Feature
    2. Require Certain Fields, like event image and description to be a minimum of 200 characters
    3. Limit the amount of categories the user can select to 3
    4. Alphabetize the drop down with event venues or allow user to type in and have system auto suggest a match.
    5. Same thing with Event Organizer
    6. Enable check boxes that allow user to request paid listing upgrades. Like Feature My listing [ ] $20 or [ ] Contact me regarding Advertising Opportunities (interface with Woocommerce)
    7. Add a link that will take user to the advertising rates page or Woocommerce to encourage upgrading the listing

    BUG REPORT 1: It is still generating 2 instances of every submission when a user submits.

    BUG REPORT 2: Some users are experiencing errors on submission and the page is deleted and no data is sent to back end.

    Thanks for taking this into consideration.

    I feel that this would be a huge improvement to the current front end submissions.

    Hi, Joe.

    I’m unsure what “Front End submission page” is, unless you’re referring to our Community Events (CE) add-on. However, you posted in thePre-Sales area of our Help Desk from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it (or accidentally if you forgot to login first).

    If you do have a paid account login with at least one current license, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

    If you don’t have a paid account login, I’m afraid we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in the Pre-Sales area. If you’re using one of our free plugins, such as The Events Calendar or Event Tickets, you can request assistance on their respective WordPres.org Support Forums (we do not provide technical support for users there, either–only via our paid forums).
