I built a demo site for a club on a hosted server, with the intention of moving that site to a new server/account for their production environment.
After the new server was purchased, we’ve attempted the move 3 times, and continue to be unable to get the site to come alive. I’ve had the hosting service review the files, config, etc… and we can’t find any material differences.

The error I’m getting is “Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home3/hbycorg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/vendor/tribe-support/tribe-support.class.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/php/54/usr/lib64:/usr/php/54/usr/share/pear’) in /home3/hbycorg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/vendor/tribe-common-libraries/tribe-common-libraries.class.php on line 63”

I’ve seen another post (here on your site)with this error, but that didn’t appear to end well… and no solution was actually posted. Some of your recommendations didn’t seem to be applicable to my problem (I can’t deactivate or remove the plugin because we can’t even get the site to come alive).
You’ll note the error message references a directory that doesn’t exist in either my demo or prod site (/vendor/tribe-support/)… yet my demo site runs and the prod site crashes.

    Ideas? Suggestions?
The URL for my account (Site’s URL) is the demo site. The “prod” site that is failing is listed in your field (WordPress version) below.

I’m not entirely certain what actually happened (cause), but I know how we got around it.
After turning off Plugins one-at-a-time, it turned out that Event Pro was the culprit and was crashing the site. It appeared that my license key on your site was still showing the “demo” url used for the build. I disassociated that link, went back to my environment, and deleted the Plugin. I then reinstalled the Pro plugin, entered the keys, and it came back to life without issue.
All of my Products (tickets) were retained without issue, and everything has worked perfectly since.
I’m still stumped how the php is referring to a directory that doesn’t exist and not throwing errors… but it seems to function properly. I’ll leave that to you.
    Thanks – Tom C.
