ParticipantI must say I was a little disappointed with the overhaul of the plugins and the roll-out. As a paying customer (both Pro and Community Events) I hoped for a little more. Anyway, now that I’ve gone and done it I have a few issues:
1. I am unable to use the month view as “View All” events on a particular date takes me to a 404 page. I am now forced to the daily list view.
2. My social share buttons now appear multiple times on any list view.
3. I do not have “sufficient permissions” for settings within PRO.
4. Duplicate fields appear for Saved Venue and Saved Organizer in the Community Events screen (although it appears to be an intermittent problem that I cannot readily duplicate).
BTW, for future you may not want to schedule these types of major overhauls just before a long weekend where you may/may not be available to help in a timely manner. At least my site isn’t broken…July 4, 2013 at 9:34 am #53262Jonah
ParticipantHi yvrmark,
Sorry to hear about you having issues with the upgrade process.
1. I’m not sure what you mean by this. Can you provide some more detail and perhaps an example?
2. You’ll need to modify the templates or adjust the social buttons plugin to get things looking the way you want here. I can try to provide a little guidance but this is more something you are responsible for.
3. Do you mean when you’re trying to save settings? Please try deactivating all other plugins to make sure there is no conflict with another plugin first. Let me know how that goes.
4. Again, I would suggest trying to deactivate all other plugins first. That may be the issue. If not, I would need some specific steps to try and re-create the problem…

Participant1. In the monthly view it only displays a certain number of events with a link on those days with more that says “view all”. When you click on that “view all” link it returns a 404 error.
2. Too bad – it worked so well out of the box in the previous version.
3. When in click on “settings” for Pro in the plugins I get the error.
My point here is that everything worked fine in the previous version. When I saw updates were available I was not expecting a total overhaul – like most updates I was expecting some bug fixes and maybe a few security fixes. Deactivating all other plugins on a live site is not the best solution… Its the equivalent of IT saying have you turned it on or rebooted.July 4, 2013 at 5:03 pm #53371Jonah
ParticipantHi yvrmark,
1. I’ll need you to make calendar view available in order to see what’s going on there.
2. Sorry I can’t offer anything else with this.
3. Yes, I understand things were working well with the previous version and it is undesirable that they are not working the same way in the new version. We do our best to try and work out all the bugs and have had a beta available for testing for months now, but ultimately it is your responsibility to maintain your website and properly run updates/upgrades to ensure that all the functionality you want is still there. I still need you to try deactivating all other plugins because I’m not sure what else could be causing this and I don’t have this issue on my end so it’s either related to your other plugins, your theme or your server.
