ParticipantHi Tribe –
I just updated my Events Calendar Pro…
I am so sorry to bother you… But, I do not want to have a list of upcoming events under the calendar. I just want to list the calendar (Only) with the information for the viewers to click on the date they would like to see. I am getting a list under the calendar of current day events. I would like to remove that list..
It was working perfect before the update. I am so sorry, there is probably a simple solution and I am not seeing it.. I tried going into the widget, but there is no where to request to post only the calendar.Thank you so much..I hope this makes sense.
Sorry to be so dumb… Thanks again –
Polly Craig

ParticipantHi Tribe – Okay I have been trying everything –
These are not events that are being posted under the calendar. It’s my last Word Press Postings. These are in the business listings and not the calendar of events.
I have done the following – Deactivated Events and Events Pro
I have deleted Events and Events Pro
I have deactivated the lastest plug-in; and then activated them.
I am now pulling my hair out… 🙂 Can you help me..
Thank You very much – I am getting ready to send out a newsletter and would like to have this fixed before I send the newsletter out.
Thank You so much. I know it’s probably a simple task; I am just not seeing it.
Thanks again

MemberHi Polly,
I’m not sure I can see or understand the problem – if I visit http://www.horseconnectioncenter.com/events/ I see a populated month view, however I’m unsure what post I’m expected to see below the calendar and why it would be there – if you can explain a little more about this that would be great.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry – Thank you for responding. The post that are under the calendar should not be there. Every since I updated the plug in for Calendar Pro; the post are showing up under the calendar. They should not be there.
Also, if click on a date on the calendar, the events do not show up. If you click on the EVENTS on the top menu bar, you can see the events; but they are not showing up on the actually calendar. I hope this makes sense to you. It was working perfect before the update. It all changed after I updated. Thank you so much for your help Barry – Polly

ParticipantBarry – I am still trying everything I can think of to fix this myself. The content under the calendar is like I am posted the widget “recent post” – If I delete the widget for Calendar Pro; the post also go away. It’s really weird. Thank again Barry for all your help. I look forward to hearing from you..

MemberAhh, I think I see what you mean now.
You are referring to the calendar widget on the home page, is that correct? If so that list of events that displays beneath it is intentional and is indeed there by design. Certainly if you updated from version 2.0.11 or earlier this would be a new and noticeable change.
You can however edit the widget and set it to display 0 events (and it will then cease to list events below the widget).
Sorry for the confusion – but does that help at all?
November 13, 2013 at 4:15 pm #76353horseconnectioncenter
ParticipantHi Barry – I already tried that. I have it set at 0 events on the widgets. And the posts that are appearing are “post” not “events”. The events are not even appearing on the calendar. It highlights the date but when you click on the date the event does not show up.
There are two problems in which I can’t seem to fix… Help… Thanks Barry

ParticipantHi Polly,
I have been running in the same problem – have a look here:
https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-3-2-minicalendar-widget-number-of-showing-events/#post-76493Regards,
OliverNovember 15, 2013 at 9:54 am #76686Barry
MemberThanks Oliver: I’m not quite sure that is the same problem. In your case (and possibly also in Polly’s) the days link to day view, but the wrong day. In Polly’s case we are seeing events listed below the widget and they are regular WP posts rather than events, which I don’t believe you are experiencing? If you in fact are experiencing the same thing please do update your own thread to that effect 🙂
Polly, NextGen jumps out as a plugin that is known to conflict with ours due to the way it interferes with database queries and a number of other plugins that were listed in the System Information you quoted have names that suggest they may also impact.
I have done the following – Deactivated Events and Events Pro
I have deleted Events and Events Pro
I have deactivated the lastest plug-in; and then activated them.I’m just a little worried that you may have misinterpreted our troubleshooting steps. To be certain, can I ask you to:
- Ensure The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are both at version 3.2
- Leave them both activated
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Please also switch to an unmodified, default theme (like Twenty Twelve)
- Ensure the calendar widget is again set up under these conditions and test again
Does the issue still manifest itself at this point?
November 15, 2013 at 3:19 pm #76757horseconnectioncenter
ParticipantBarry – I just went through and performed the above task. The problems still exists.
Both the Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro at version 3.2
Switching to Twenty Twelve did not solve it; and deactivating each plug in one by one and seeing if that was it, did not solve it. I made sure that NextGen was deactivated and the problem still exist.
Barry, thank you so much for helping with this problem. Its so frustrating, but so nice to have you helping me.
What do you suggest I try next.. Thanks Barry –
Oliver, thank you so much for your input.
Polly
