ParticipantWe are using the PRO version, but the calendar are taking the files from the free version, so the translation is wrong and there are some words missed. So, as you know we need the files from the Pro Calendar (paid version) instead of the free version. How can we do that?

MemberHi pixurro,
Thanks for getting in touch. Can you tell me which language you are using, and also which versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO you are using? That should help me fix this for you.
Best,
Leah

ParticipantHi,
I’m using in “ca” language.
The Events Calendar: 3.6.1
The Events Calendar PRO: 3.6.1July 3, 2014 at 12:55 pm #271870Leah
MemberHi pixurro,
Thanks for that information. The reason you are seeing so many words in English is because the Catalan translation is really outdated. All of our plugins are translated by volunteers, and no one has worked on this one since version 3.0. Would you be interested in updating the translation? That would fix your site and we’d give you a free license in exchange.
If you are interested, check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. If you are not able to translate it, you’ll unfortunately need to wait for someone else to update the files.
Best,
Leah

ParticipantOne example:
In tribe-events-calendar-pro-CA, this line:
#: ../events-calendar-pro.php:1177
msgid “Photo”
msgstr “Foto”
But in tribe-events-calendar-ca no exist this reference, because in pro file yes?July 3, 2014 at 1:39 pm #272012Leah
MemberHi pixurro,
The translation file for Events Calendar PRO is in the plugin, so your site is already using it- you don’t need to do anything extra. However, the files are so out of date that the line numbers may be wrong, which means that the translations don’t work even if the word is actually in the .po file. At the very least the files need to be updated with the latest .pot file as described in the Getting Started post.
Best,
Leah

MemberHi pixurro,
The calendar are taking the files from the free version and pro version at the same time?
Yes- both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO have Catalan translations, and each translation file is being used when you set your site’s language. The Events Calendar PRO translation only includes the translations for PRO’s specific features.
Only need put correct Map and Photo in list view
I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you need here. I tried the Catalan translation on my test site and it works pretty well. Can you explain more what you need, and/or share some screenshots so I can understand?
Best,
Leah
