Hi,
I’ve been trying to setup an Eventbrite import using a location search without success. I’m based in the UK and trying to import events using the following urlhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/d/united-kingdom–leeds/events–next-month/
However when I try to enter the url when configuring an import the field is highlighted in red and I’m unable to do a preview to see any events listed. I’ve tried all sorts of variations without success. The only progress I made was to change the url to http instead of https then the field didn’t turn red but I wasn’t able to get any data when trying to do a preview.
For the moment I’m stuck having just made the purchase but can’t use it. Some assistance would be appreciated please.
Regards

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been struggling with that issue. Let me help you with it.
The validation error you are getting is because you are using a .co.uk domain for the eventbrite import. Unfortunately, we are already aware of this issue so I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
The workaround for the moment, is to modify the URL to use .com like the following:
https://www.eventbrite.com/d/united-kingdom--leeds/events--next-month/
Please try it out and see if it works for you.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-september-2018/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.
Please update the plugins and let us know if the fix works for your site.
