Problem after migrating 1.5.4 to latest version

I currently have a staging site and I tried upgrading from 1.5.4 to the latest version of Events Calendar. The migration was completed successfully, however I have an issue where old events do not show up in the calendar at all. If I make a new event, it will show up, but the old events (which are published) do not show up on the Calendar or the Events list. Any insight into why this might be?

Our migration script has not been fully tested in the more recent versions of the plugin. What I would suggest is that you revert back to 1.5.4 and run the migration with 2.0 which you can get from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/ – the update the plugin from there.

Let me know whether or not that works.
