Does the pro version allow you to:

    1. Many of our events are very similar can I create a new event if I copy an event, modify it, and save it as a new date?
    2. Create a reoccurring event like every second Tuesday of the month, but then if one of those events happens to get changed can you change it without it changing all of the events?

    Thank you

    Hi Ellen,

Thanks so much for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! Happy to answer these questions for you! 🙂

    1. While we don’t offer any built-in tools to facilitate event duplication in this manner, most third-party post duplicator plugins that support custom post types should work just fine for duplicating events. Post Duplicator is just one such example; you can find many others from a quick search in the WordPress.org plugin directory!
    2. Great question! If you need to change the details for a single event in a recurring series without changing the rest of the series, we’ve provided tools to allow you to break off one or a group of events from a recurring series. You can learn more about how to do this on our Knowledgebase here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/#breaking-off-events

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
