    Question: What happens to recurring events IF a site reverts to the Free version of Events Calendar?

    Hello Karen! Thanks for getting in touch.

    Good question. Events that were marked as Recurring in PRO will degrade to individual events when PRO is deactivated. In other words, the events will still be available to edit and manage in your WordPress dashboard, but they will no longer be identified as recurring events and will not retain the recurring functionality.
