    Hello,

A recent update of our paid plugins (Event Calendar PRO, Eventbrite Event Tickets, and Event Calendar Filterbar) put the updated plugins in some very strangely-named folders:

    • theeventscalendar.compu_request_pluginevents-calendar-proversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-x3ag56
    • theeventscalendar.compu_request_plugintribe-eventbriteversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-hOhvSh
    • theeventscalendar.compu_request_plugintribe-filterbarversion4.1pu_get_download1pue_active_version4.0-H2IWFR

I suspect these may have been temporary folders that the update was downloading into before moving them to the normal names (events-calendar-pro, the-events-calendar-eventbrite-tickets, the-events-calendar-filterbar), however they stayed that way and have caused problems with things that require the correct plugin path, such as the calendar widget.

Having discovered it and manually renamed the folders, all seems well again, but thought you’d want to know about it.

Not sure if it makes any difference, but we use wp-cli to run the WordPress update process from the command line.

    Best,
    Robert

Hi thanks for bringing this up.

If you did an automatic update in the first 48 hours of the 4.1 release it caused this issue.

It has been fixed and should be fine going forward.

Thanks for bringing it up and if you see it happen again please let us know.

    Cheers
