I was in the process of updating the Pro Calendar when process stalled and led to a White Screen of Death. I was able to escape from that when debugging found a function to remove “Related Events” from single events was the problem. I commented it out, and now the site is up.

However, the Calendar Pro has been deactivated, and the plugin directory shows the temporary directory from the install (see attached screenshot: http://imgur.com/5oPtFPM).

What should I do at this point? Delete this temporary directory and manually install the update? I’m concerned about damage to database data if I choose the wrong route here.

    Thanks.

    Hey Lee,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear there was difficulty in updating to the latest version of the plugin. The best route to go here would be to delete the current folder from your plugins folder via FTP and then download the latest version of the plugin from your downloads page and upload it there.

As long as you’re updating from a 4.0+ (and even a little earlier) version of the plugin, you don’t need to worry about any database implications with this approach.

    Thanks!
