ParticipantEverywhere on the backend the price of this event is $459 but it’s showing up as $339 at the top of the event page and in the details section, but down at the bottom it shows the correct price. This is making our students very upset and we’re having to honour the lower price. I’ve uploaded screenshots of our backend – trying to edit in WooTickets, or the series of events, doesn’t seem to shed any light.
However you will notice a weird 4 digit number in the sale price box when editing in WooTix – we can’t edit that and it’s not showing up when when look at the ticket itself or the product.
As far as we can tell this is happening across all events that we’re once sale, but now are back to full price.

ParticipantHi @Laughmasters,
I’m sorry to see this!
For starters, can you please share these two essential pieces of information:
1. System information → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
2. Can you clarify if you are using the combination of Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus on your site? Are these two plugins active on your site? Or when you say “WooTix”, do you mean that the old plugin “WooCommerce Tickets” is active on your site instead?

ParticipantThanks for confirming this, @Laughmasters.
Unfortunately the problem here is likely the old WooCommerce Tickets plugin. This is a broken, unsupported plugin that will not work, so the first course of action here is to update to Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus.
This knowledgebase article is a helpful guide for that process → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
Cheers!

ParticipantWeird.
On the migration page it says:While we will continue to support the four legacy plugins, we will not be updating them
We wil update to EventTicketsPlus after the current term ends and a solution the current issue would be appreciated in the interim.

ParticipantThat’s a sentence we can—and will—clarify for sure. Sorry for the trouble here.
There is unfortunately no solution for the issue with price discrepancies at this time. Event Tickets Plus is the only active codebase, so if you switch to Event Tickets Plus and the problems persist, then a full-on bug investigation can be done because that codebase is active so bug fixes can be released.
WooCommerce Tickets is no longer active so no bug fixes will be released so there is no avenue for correcting this problem if WooCommerce Tickets is the active plugin. 🙁
Sincerely,
