previous month's recurring events appear in calendar view

Hi, although we’re now in November October’s recurring events still appear first in calendar view. I would prefer that user could only see events from the current month only, excluding past months. Here’s a link to our website: http://www.lisburnmuseum.com/events/

To date i’ve had to manually delete previous events, but this is tricky to stay on top of.

I posted this in the pre-sale forum by accident and Brian helpfully noted that:

Having said that I took a look at the site and the event in question is a recurring event and a multiday event setup to start in October and run to June 2016.

So the plugin is working correctly as that event has started already, but not ended so it will show first.

I understand this is the way the plugin is designed to work, but I find it confusing when an event for a month that has passed turns up, Is there any way round it?

Hi Brian,

I think there might be a slight oddity in the way that event is configured. The events says it lasts 269 days, starting on October 1. So, technically, it is both an October and November events which explains why it is displayed in both months. Is it possible that the event is actually 1 day and repeats every month, or is it supposed to be last 269 days?

Many thanks. Although these events do last for months, i’ve found that by following your method and having exhibitions scheduled to last one calendar month and then recurring it every month after, the calendar updates correctly.
