Previous link not working, theme conflict

I’m having a theme conflict that is causing the previous/next links not to work, it just goes to the top of the current page instead. It works in twentytwelve, just not in our theme. Any ideas of what I can look for in the theme in order to resolve this? Any hints or tips would be very helpful.
The theme is Salient from themeforest. The url I’ve given is a development location as we have not launched yet.

Thanks for getting in touch! I apologize for the delayed response here. I’m going to have one of my team members take a closer look at this since I believe he’s seen this sort of behavior before. In the meantime, you might want to take a look at our Themer’s Guide and see if that can shed some light on the conflict.
