GuestI have taken over the administration of our school website. The original developer purchased EC Pro and iCal importer.
The EC Pro license has expired. And, if I understand correctly, the Events Aggregator has replaced the iCal importer. I also believe that the Aggregator comes with EC Pro now, is that correct?
However, before we commit to buying (or renewing, if still possible), I need to confirm that some issues we were having using the plugins have been resolved.
In particular, there was an issue with dating and duplication of events when importing from Outlook. When the previous developer inquired about the issue, she was told that it had something to do with Outlook and the way it formatted dates.
Can you provide feedback on this concern, please?

KeymasterHello there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I would love to help you with your questions.
the Events Aggregator has replaced the iCal importer
Yes, that is true. We have launched Event Aggregator at the end of last year and has the same functionality as iCal importer and more.
I also believe that the Aggregator comes with EC Pro now, is that correct?
Unfortunately this is not correct. If you would like to use Event Aggregator you will need to purchase a separate license for that. Just like it was the case with the iCal importer.
I need to confirm that some issues we were having using the plugins have been resolved.
Indeed, there have been similar, but most of those have been fixed already. I have checked our current log of bugs that need to be fixed and I didn’t find any issue of similar nature.
In case you would encounter a bug like that and you report it to us here in the forums, then we will log it internally and our developers will get on to it.
If you can give me the website url or the expired license number, then I should be able to look up the previous threads and see to which bug they are connected to. Then I can check if those specific bugs were fixed or not.
I hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Cheers,

GuestThe URL is dellagoacademy.org. I don’t have access to the license number or to the user account created by the developer we used to launch the site.
If you could research the bug in previous threads using the URL that would be very helpful.
Thank you.May 12, 2017 at 7:53 am #1282965Andras
KeymasterHi,
I have checked our records and couldn’t find a license key associated to that domain / website. It is possible that the license key has not yet been entered in the dashboard, so it’s not registered in our systems.
Other information that would help find the keys are either the username or the email address the licenses were purchased with. Would it be possible to get in touch with the developer to get this informyation?

KeymasterIt did help, I managed to find the account based on the developers email address, and I also found the threads of hers.
I can confirm, the bug with iCal importer duplicating events has been fixed about a year ago.
I also checked the license keys, they have all expired some time ago. Since it looks like she is not involved with your website any more, in case you would like to purchase a new license it would be best if you created a new account for yourself or possibly for the school.
Let me know if I can be of any more help.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
