Previous and Next Buttons on Events Details

Hi Modern Tribe,

There might be an easy fix for this, but I did not know how to look it up when I attempted to do so.

When we are on our Events Details page, it displays a couple of suggestions of other events at the top and bottom. I think these are supposed to be like “previous” and “next” buttons. That’s helpful, but the first button is ALWAYS our first event, which occurred two months ago. Is our system broken? How do we fix this?

Also, is there a way to disable it so that these buttons do not show at the top? How about the top and the bottom?

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

Our developers are aware of this bug — prev/next links for an event in a recurrence series — and are working to resolve it.

We cannot provide ETAs, but it’s been reported by quite a few people, so I’m sure they’re working on it. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to prioritize and squash bugs.

If you want to hide the previous and next links on an event-single page (for both recurring and non-recurring events):
