Prevent ongoing events from appearing in Upcoming Events list

I’m very happy with the product and the main issue I have is that, for me, it’s not appropriate to show Ongoing Events in the “Upcoming Events” – anywhere that doesn’t specify that it’s an Ongoing Event, like in the widget (side and footer) and on the main events archive…. If the event has started already, with events that require registration and attendance each day I don’t want it in the Upcoming Events listing. The catch is that some events are open to all, each day they run, in which case I’d want it in the upcoming events.

Any solution?

Thanks for using our plugins.

Unfortunately, there is no way to show an ongoing event versus an upcoming event. It could be possible with Pro to make it a daily recurring event instead so it shows a more current date, but that is the only work around I know of.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
