Prevent multiple RSVP responses

Hi,

We run an RSVP system for member events.
All members are logged in to enable them to see event listings.

Currently we are having an issue with members submitting multiple RSVPs – either:
a) forgot that they have RSVP’d and do it again (so showing too many on the attendee list)
b) RSVPing yes and then RSVPing no – the no doesn’t cancel out the yes, and we are again left with too many on the attendee list.

Is there a way that will allow only one RSVP response per member?
Totally OK with them changing from yes to no (and vice versa) – but only with one response each.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

By default, you can set a purchase limit for tickets, but not for RSVPs.  However, you can try the snippet provided in the following forum post to help you achieve the results that you are looking for:
