    Good Morning from Hamburg,

as you might know we have started the first german platform for searching and booking of art courses recently: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de. Thanks to your great set of plugins we have implemented our main event-page: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kurse/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribeHideRecurrence=1# where the visitors can search, navigate and filter in any thinkable direction.

Because we act on behalf of our registered organizers (artists, academies, painting schools etc.) we want present them as good as possible. For this reason we have already two views of organizers. One is the overview page: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kursanbieter-kunstkurse/ (implemented with the plugin: Fusion Builder Custom Post Types and Taxonomies) and the map-view: https://finde-deinen-malkurs.de/kursanbieter-landkarte/ (implemented with the plugin: CP Google Maps).

So far everything is fine. But we are now looking for further options/features e.g. “Search for organizers” or “Search for organizers which provide a certain (painting) technique or so”.
Therefore my question: Are there any additional shortcodes, plugins, add-ons, hooks or whatsoever available to implement such functionality?

Thanks in advance for your support.

    Best Regards
    Uwe

    Hi, Uwe. Great stuff!

The only thing we have built already for you is https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/listing-venues-and-organizers/

However, in addition to that, you might like to count the posts per author or possibly change the Organizer post type to be public and support other things that would make it publicly queryable. For this, you’d want to leverage thetribe_events_register_organizer_type_args filter and reference register_post_type()

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
