ParticipantHi there!
I’m a developer building a site using woocommerce/events calendar/events tickets/events tickets plus.We are collecting information on the event/ticket page using the ‘Attendee Information’ section. Some of this is duplicated in the checkout and I want to prefill that to save customers from entering it again. How would you advise I go about this?
Also I would like to save some of the fields to the user account associated with the ticket purchase, can you advise how best to implement this functionality as well?
The site is currently on a local dev environment but will be pushed to a staging site as well.
Thanks!

MemberHi, Boyd.
If you’re using WooCommerce tickets (and not also RSVP tickets), there shouldn’t be any redundant fields unless you added them from the Attendee Information options.
If this isn’t what you’re experiencing, please provide a screen capture video so I can understand what you’re seeing.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Cliff
Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by “redundant fields” – We need to collect attendee information per ticket, but in most cases the first ticket will be for the person purchasing tickets so I want to prefill the billing fields with the ticket meta fields that match for users who aren’t logged in. Additionally, some of the attendee information is likely to be the same for future events, so it would be great if that meta data can be saved to the user account if the decide to create one at checkout or indeed if they are already logged in.
I hope that clarifies my questions!
Cheers

MemberI appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.
If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on or something else I can help you with, please update this ticket or create a new ticket if it’s a separate issue.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
