Pre-Sales Questions on The Event Calendar Pro

Bottomline question:
1 – Is there a way through shortcodes or whatever I can control what events display with the calendar?

Situation: I am developing a website for an organization that sells and support real estate franchises and agents. I would like to put “Everything” into one calendar, but only display specific events on certain pages, but have a web page for regional staff that displays everything. Example events include:
1 – Meetings at specific offices 5 – Rallys
2 – Sales Training 6 – Webinars for Pre-Sales
3 – New Office Opening 7 – Webinars for Training
4 – Open House Extravaganza 8 – Holiday and Quarterly Parties / Events

I tried searching the Forums, but I want to make sure I have this answer correct before I ask them to purchase the calendar (and Tickets app)

Yes, with Events Calendar PRO, you can insert various calendars with shortcodes with category arguments that would allow you to only show certain event types on the calendar. That method is detailed in our knowledgebase here. Alternatively, you could link to filtered calendars using our Filter Bar plugin. So, for example, if I wanted a menu item for “WP Meetups” I could create it as a custom link and link to this filtered version of our demo calendar, WP Shindig. Take a look at both options and see what would better suit your needs. 🙂
