GuestHi there
I have a bunch of pre-sales questions.
1. I understand that you don’t support multiple calendars on the same domain, but you do support different views of the same calendar. Would it be possible to use tags to display two or more full calendars displaying events that are simply subsets of the master calendar?
2. We currently use Events Manager to generate event registration options and connect through to sell tickets via Paypal. Can we keep using Paypal with your plugin?
3. Is there any way to import events into your plugin from Events Manager?
4. Do you support multiple time zones? I mean, events that are displayed in timezones other than the default for the site?
5. When you say that Event Tickets Plus will not support tickets for recurring events, do you mean that a user cannot purchase tickets for multiple instances of a recurring event at the same time, or that a user would not be able to purchase a ticket for a single event in a recurring series?
Thank you!

MemberHi there! Thanks so much for your interest in our products–I’ll try to help you with these questions as best I can! 🙂
- If you’re wanting to display multiple full-size calendars on the same page of your site, this isn’t currently supported as a feature (though we’re hoping to implement it very soon this year). That said, you can use categories to view full-size calendars listing only events that fall under a particular category, as in this example from our WP Shindig product demo site.
- Absolutely! We support paid ticket sales and management through Event Tickets Plus and the e-commerce platform of your choice; if your e-commerce platform supports payment processing via PayPal, we’ll support it, as well.
- Other than the premium import tools provided by iCal Importer, we offer CSV import functionality that comes standard with The Events Calendar–you should be able to bring in any CSV-formatted data you have with this tool.
- We do! You can specify a unique location and timezone for each event as needed, and this data can be imported from other applications, as well.
- Sorry for the confusion here! In the current implementation, if you create a ticket for a recurring event, one ticket type will be created that will be repeated across the entire series of events. The backend will not be able to differentiate between tickets for each event in the series. We’re hoping to implement full recurring event ticketing in a future release, but we don’t currently have a timeline for when this feature might be available.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions, and thanks again for stopping by!

GuestHi Caroline,
Do you have any detailed documentation about the time zone function?
Thanks!

MemberHi again,
Absolutely! We have an article on timezones as they relate to our plugins in our Knowledgebase here. Let me know if you should have any other questions that aren’t addressed there! 🙂
Thank you!

MemberHi again! It’s been a while since our last exchange here, and it looks like you’re all sorted by now, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out. Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do to assist! 🙂 Thank you!
