Pre-Sales Question: WooTickets and Purchasing Tickets to Multiple Events

Considering purchasing WooTickets ASAP for a project *I think* it will be perfect for. I have an organization that sells tickets to multiple events every month. They need a way for people to purchase tickets for multiple events simultaneously in one transaction – is that possible in WooTickets?

YES!

People can add as many tickets to their cart as they’d like and complete the transaction only once. Since tickets are really just a product type in WooCommerce, your cart should behave the same way with our tickets as it would with any other product you’re selling.

Hi there – I’m looking to add your plugin as an add-on for a client of mine. They do tours and will want those tour dates available on a calendar, from which a user can select a tour-date available and pay for it before coming. They’re a non-profit organization and they do tours of their rescue facility each month. What would the ease of setup be for a situation like this? Does this feature integrate with WooCommerce? They want the user to be able to give donations, sponsor animals and possibly schedule a tour, but all within the same shopping experience, just adding each to their cart.

How easy is it to set up a calendar with dates and then sell these tickets as part of the overall e-commerce experience? Do you provide reporting data on your solution? Currently, the client uses a solution called GiftWorks and each time they want to set up a tour, they have to create a page for the tour, so it’s very cumbersome and they’re looking for a simpler solution.

Hey there Domonic,

Let’s see if I understand this correctly… you want to not only sell tickets to events, but also other products as well (such as donations or sponsorships)? In the same transaction?

If that’s the case, the answer is yes! WooCommerce: Tickets considers tickets to events to be “products” like any other that would go in a shopping cart. All with the same WooCommerce shopping experience, and with all the reporting features that are available through WooCommerce. Plus you’ll be able to separate your ticket sales from your other sales (by category) if you want to analyze them separately.

As far as how easy is it to set up, well I’m biased, so I think it’s a piece of cake. But you’ll be able to simply set up events and they will all appear on one calendar. No separate pages for each, although you can view them that way if you’d like. Once the event is entered, there are several ways to view it; find one that suits you.

Why don’t you try the free The Events Calendar plugin and the free WooCommerce plugin? Then add the WooCommerce: Tickets plugin for your ticket solution.
