Pre-Sales Question: variable product prices -> variations shown on pdf ticket

We are looking for a solution for one of our clients to sell tickets with variable extra items that add to the total ticket price, and are being shown on the PDF ticket.

The situation is as follows:
Attendee can buy a regular event ticket, but should be able te add some variations that add to the total cost of the ticket. For this we’re now using the woocommerce product add-on since this is the only available option to add extra costs to a product.
An attendee should be able to check some sessions he can attend, in addition to the standard ticket costs. So an extra session would add $25 to the total ticket price.
We need to be flexible with this, so this can be totally different for another product.

Up until now we’ve been experimenting with Tickera, which works, but can not display the custom product add-ons (extra sessions etc) on the ticket, so we’re walking away from Tickera. That’s a shame, we’ve payed quite some dollars for a plugin we’re not able to use.

So, Is this something that is possible with Event Tickets Plus? I would love to test out the plugin, but after buying three different plugins to accomplish this, we’re a bit hesitant buying another plugin of which we’re not fully sure would accomplish our needs and wishes.

What you’ve described is definitely possible, but would most likely require additional plugins (WooCommerce Produce Add-On, for example) and possibly custom development on your end as the features you need are not currently included in Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus.

I wish I had a different answer for you, but I know this functionality is not an uncommon request around here, so between searching our forums for users seeking similar features and good old fashion trial-and-error, I don’t think it would be too difficult a task to accomplish.

Another idea is to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas to submit/upvote the feature. We always look at what our users want/need when considering features to include in future feature releases.
