PRE-SALES QUESTION – Customization of the module.

Been taking your module for a test drive in our site. One very important glitch we’ve found for our particular area of the world. Google maps is terribly inaccurate in our region, often steering people to the wrong location. We’ve found that lat and long works better but it omits the physical address of the venue.

We want to add an additional box with the lat and long to the venue’s address block as the primary address source for Google maps location and the physical address as the secondary, with no functionality in determining it in Google maps. Is this possible?

I’m sorry to hear that Google Maps isn’t very friendly to your region of the world 🙂 Rest assured we have nothing to do with that, we just send the address data to Google Maps’ API and it takes it from there!

The customization you suggested here is indeed possible. Just about anything is possible to make with The Events Calendar and WordPress and such. The relevant thing to note is that we unfortunately cannot offer any help with writing custom code like this, and don’t offer support for custom code like this if something isn’t working right, etc.
