Pre-Sales question: Creating event without specific time or display

I am interested in buying the Events Calendar Plus and the Events Ticket Plus plugins.
I understand that the combination of these two will allow me to sell sign ups for archery tournaments for our club. But I am curious if through Events Tickets Plus I can also create an “event” which does not have a specific time frame. I would want to use this for our annual membership fee. I would not want this event to be listed in the events calendar though but display this sign up option on a different page.

Is this possible?

Hi Martin,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

Although there is no way to create an event/ticket without a start or end date and time, you can hide the start and end time from the front-end of your site, so that users of your site will not see the start and end dates.

You can also set the time frame for one year, since you’d like to use this functionality for annual membership fees.

Thanks for your answer. I do have another question which I asked in my original message. I would not want this specific year long event to be listed in the events calendar though but display this sign up option on a different page. Is that possible?

Hi Martin,

In that case, you can create a private event, so that it is hidden from the original calendar.  From there, you can display that event using a category that you assign to it.

You can do something similar to a “members-only calendar” as is outlined in the following article:
