Just getting to grips with the free version and wondered how you could display a list of organisers?

Also I noticed that CSV import is planned for 3.2 is there an ETA for this ie within the next month, 6 months etc?

Hey Debbie,

Thanks so much for checking out our plugins! I’m not sure I understand your question regarding the organizers though. Is that something you want to have displayed on the calendar? Or is it something you want to have on the backend for admins to choose from? Our Events Calendar PRO add-on does save a list of organizers on the backend so that if they’ve been entered once admins can just choose one from a drop down list.

And the CSV importer is a hotly requested item that we are working hard to include in an upcoming maintenance release. I can’t give any specifics on when that might be released, but the best way to be notified of releases is either to visit these forums frequently, sign up for our newsletter (at the bottom of http://tri.be), or connect with us on your favorite social media channel.

Re Organisers – is there a way to list on the front end a list of events by one organiser.

CSV Import – The answer sort of side stepped the issue. Basically the website I am looking to add this to, has over 400 events to include, but the site needs to be live before Jan 2014, so am I likely to be able to import the events in time.

Hi Debbie,

I’m sorry I didn’t answer your questions last time. Regarding the organizers, no, that is not something our plugins can do without customization. We are working on a filter bar that would do something to similar to what you are asking, but it doesn’t’ filter by organizer. It could probably be modified to do that, but that would be something you’d have to do yourself. Regarding the CSV import, I can’t tell you exactly when it will be released, but it’s coming very soon and you should have plenty of time to meet your January deadline.
