I want to set a community calendar for music in my city. I’m looking to boost my SEO and my web traffic by allowing musicians, specifically songwriters, to come to my site, add information about where they are playing and then link to their own sites so it becomes a win/win. Honestly, I don’t want to have to work for it! LOL For instance, the The Bluenote Cafe has shows every night. I want to having recurring info, where they are, that they have 2 shows per night, but then I want a third party, the artist, to be able to log on (where I will be able to get their email), enter their own information and save it. Can this plug-in do that? I can’t seem to find where another party can do that. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Patricia,

Thanks for getting in touch. Sounds like a cool project!

allowing musicians, specifically songwriters, to come to my site, add information about where they are playing and then link to their own sites so it becomes a win/win.

Our Community Events plugin sounds like the right thing for you. Users can come to your site, register, and then have the ability to post their own events. Have you checked out the Community Events product page and New User Primer? Those resources include screenshots and videos that show you the different features of Community Events. You can also see a demo at wpshindig.com– just click Add Your Event in the top menu.

Keep in mind that if you want yourself or your users to be able to submit recurring Events, you’ll also need Events Calendar PRO.

Does that answer your questions? Let me know if I can answer anything else or be of further help.

    Best,

    Leah
