GuestHi π !
I’m really interested in buying your plugins for WordPress, but first I need more informations.
Here’s what I need :
I have an event that lasts four days. The entrance is totally free but people need to book their places because they are limited.
I want to give the ability to the visitors to book for 1 or more days. During the booking, they have to give me different informations (lastname, firstname, function, phone, …).
When it’s booked, the visitor receives a confirmation by mail and is also allowed to print his ticket with firstname/lastname and his function. This printed ticket will be used to facilitate the entry to the event.
I also need to store in WP the reservations and I want to be allowed to export the datas. Is it possible to achieve that with one or more of your plugins ? If yes, could you explain it to me ?
Thanks a lot π !

MemberHi Noomia,
Great questions!
The entrance is totally free but people need to book their places because they are limited … I want to give the ability to the visitors to book for 1 or more days.
Although a combination of The Events Calendar, WooTickets and WooCommerce would get you close the difficulty would be in smoothly offering a choice of booking only a selection of those days.
Possibly you could look at Eventbrite and see if the service itself offered by them is viable here – if so, our Eventbrite Tickets plugin + The Events Calendar could be a good way to go – but I suspect you may hit the same roadblock, in which case this would make for a nice customization.
Though it would be beyond the scope of support to guide you through doing that (though we could probably prod you in the right direction here and there π ) I wouldn’t see this as a major undertaking in the hands of the right developer.
When itβs booked, the visitor receives a confirmation by mail and is also allowed to print his ticket with firstname/lastname and his function.
WooTickets 2.0 – which is on the cusp of being released – would facilitate something really close to this. However, you’d have to bear in mind the initial limitation we just discussed re booking of 1 or more days within a multi-day event.
I hope that broadly answers your questions – but if there’s anything else please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks!
