Pre-Purchase Questions – Event Calendar Pro

Before I buy the Event Calendar Pro I need to make sure it’s going to do what I need it to do.

I have the free version installed right now and configured the design. Now I need to link to a “Venues” page but don’t see that option. I want an entire list of all the venues alphabetically on one page. Does the Pro version do that? It looks like it does from the screen shots, but I need to make sure.

I also need to a separate section of “Live Theater” events. So with the pro version can I put a menu link to that event category and then display all the “Live Theater” items only or any category for that matter? But I would need the whole list of just those events.

I think that’s the important things I need to know. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for reaching out to us! I would be happy to answer your questions as you consider whether or not to purchase our plugin.

1. There isn’t a default listing for the front-end that displays all the Venues. You could create a template to display these with a little bit of custom development. We could help you in the forums to form a proper query to get all of the venues but the display of the results would partially depend on the structure of your theme.
2. Definitely! You can have a “Live Theater” category and link directly to that when creating your menus under the Appearance > Menus area of your WordPress dashboard.
