GuestI am considering Events Calendar Pro and Community Events to allow logged-in users to submit events (workshops) from the front end. But I have a few specific needs that I’m not sure if this plugin can do:
1. We need the Event Submission Form to be pre-populated with a user’s address/contact info (each user will have their own venue for their events, and it will be the same venue for every event they submit). A user should ONLY see their own info in the form — not a dropdown that shows ALL the venues to choose from. Is this possible?
2. We also need an option for users to select a pre-set Event “Template” (we repeat events regularly), where certain form fields are already filled out with that event’s info (name, description, categories checked, etc…). Then the user can overwrite or change the info if they need to.
3. We need to be able to register for events (free). I only see paid booking add-ons like WooCommerce, etc… We could use WooCommerce and just set the tickets to “Free” but I’d rather not have to interact with WooCommerce. I’d like the booking to managed from that event interface, not popping over to WooCommerce to view the “products.” Is there a generic booking add-on? Again, users should only be able to see event booking tickets for the events they have created — not all events.
4. We need to output an attendee list for people who have registered so they can see who is signed up for their event. Again, users should only be able to see attendees for events they have created – not all events.
Does Events Calendar Pro do these things? If these features are not included out of the box, is it simple to add with custom development?
Thank you.

GuestUpon reviewing some of the other pre-sales questions about bookings, it looks like this plugin may not be what we need. The Event Creation side seems great, but it doesn’t currently seem to have as robust capabilities for registering for events. I look forward to using the plugin in the future if you build out the booking side of things. Thanks!

MemberOk thanks for reply and looking around for my information.
Yes out ticketing system is simple right now and we are working on expanding that feature. We do have long term plans to add a more robust booking system, but there is not timeline for that right now.
Thanks again for your interest.
