Pre-pend organizer/venue data to event description?

I have many different organizers post events via Facebook subscriptions. Because the event details are often written within the context of an FB page, it’s not always clear who is organizing the event unless you look down at the organizer box. When these are shared back to FB through my own FB page, it appears that I am hosting all of these events.

Is it possible to have some of the event metadata (organizer, venue, etc) pre-pended to the body content/description of the event? It would seem that some templating feature would be possible with the TEC back-end, but even if there were hooks available to do this through my own custom plugin, that would be great.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Please note that we are limited in supporting customizations. I can give you some pointers and ideas, but you will need to do the heavy lifting. Thanks for your understanding!

If I understand correctly then you want to pre-pend the data to the body, before it goes out from your TEC calendar to your Facebook page. And you do this with your custom plugin.

I guess with your plugin you will somehow need to access the event data, so you can feed it to Facebook.

In our documentation you should be able to find functions (e.x. tribe_get_organizer_details () ) that help you pull the needed data. Then stick it together with the event description before it goes out.
