I’m running Event Ticket Plus and WooCommerce.
I’ve got an event that can only take 40 people. (Global Tickets)
Our internal requirement is that attendees have to register as a user before they purchase.
One of the sponsors has asked us if they can have 20 tickets for their customers before we make them generally available for sale. However, they do not have the individual’s names or details yet.

I would like to be able to reserve 20 tickets for the sponsors, indicate that 20/40 have been sold, and then be able to assign them to individuals after they have created an account at a later date .

Any suggestions on how to go about it ?
    – i.e. can tickets be transferred from one user to another ?

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for reaching out! I’ll help you here…

Basically there’s no setting or way to lock the stock down. Maybe the easiest way to do this is to create two different ticket types, one for General Tickets and the other one for Sponsored Tickets with a stock of 20 each and use the ticket start and end dates to display the correct ticket type, Does this makes sense?

Other way is to manually generate the orders from the back-end, and just have a stock of 20 for the front-end tickets.

can tickets be transferred from one user to another ?

You can edit the order, but I’m nor sure if this is the best method.

Please let me know if this answers your question or if you still need help,
    Best,
    Nico
