Hello! I installed the plugin on 28 February and to the last update we had any problems with it. Now, after upgrading to version 3.1 of Events Calendar PRO, has stopped working correctly. In addition to events, the plugin gets the posts and insert them into the calendar of events.

    How I can fix this?

Hi, didac. This is a great question. 🙂

The upgrade from Version 2.x to Verison 3.x is not a small undertaking. Much of our codebase has changed, so it may change the way that the Events Calendar interacts with your site.

I apologize, but I am not able to see the specific behavior you are referencing. If you mean that the static front page of your site is currently being overridden, please check out this snippet for a temporary fix: https://theeventscalendar.com/fix-for-static-front-page-being-overridden-when-including-events-in-main-blog-loop/

Otherwise, it would be helpful if you could include a link to the page on your site where the behavior is occurring and/or a screenshot. It would also be great if you could include a copy of the System Information found on the Help tab of the Events Calendar Settings page.

    website: http://www.culturapicassent.com

At the moment there are no EVENTS posted on the website but the Events Calendar shows some days marked in red. When you click over some of these days then it takes you to a page that displays all POSTS (not events) created on that specific date.

For example: click on October 14th. It displays a news (a post) that was created on that date.

On the other hand… When you create a new EVENT it doesn’t appear in the EVENTS CALENDAR

Hi, didac. Thanks for taking the time to explaining your situation to me.

The calendar that you reference in your website’s sidebar is not part of our plugin. Based on the naming of that sidebar element, I’m guessing that it’s part of WP Calendar: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-calendar/

It sounds like the first step would be for you to install the free version of The Events Calendar (http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) and then, download and install Events Calendar PRO from your account’s downloads page on our site (https://theeventscalendar.com/downloads/).

Be sure to check out our new user primer for a step-by-step guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-pro-new-user-primer/. Once you’ve got our calendar installed and configured, we’re happy to help with any further questions you have.

    Thanks! 🙂

Hi Kelly!! Thanks for your time.

Seems like my client has been “playing” with the widgets sidebar and has replaced the Events calendar with the Posts calendar. My fault!

Thats done, and the events calendar is again in its place (yeah!!) BUT it doesnt fit properly in the sidebar area. Can you take a look??? http://www.culturapicassent.com

    Thanks again

Oh, fantastic! 🙂 Well done, didac.

For shrinking the sidebar calendar back to its appropriate size, please try out this snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/mini-calendar-is-too-big-for-the-sidebar/

If that doesn’t work, we can help you figure something else out. 🙂
