Possible to set different template for single event view?

Is is possible to add the template changer for the single event view? We’d like to be able to use a specific template for our major events if needed.

I don’t see why not 🙂

It’s definitely something where you’d need to do a customization or two, but perhaps if you were happy to tag events as “Major Events” or something of that order you could customize the existing single event template so that it detects this and loads an alternative template?
