Possible to redirect past dates from recurring events?

Hello. I’m wondering if it’s possible to redirect past dates from recurring events. If the event occurrence we’re about to view has passed and there are future dates for this event, redirect to the next occurrence in the list. These old event links can be indexed by search engines, found on social media sites or in WP search results so redirecting them would be more helpful.

There is not currently an out of the box way to do this, but you could do it via a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot! Our list of functions might also be helpful. I would take a look at tribe_is_past_event() and wp_redirect() as a staring point. If you would like to have the code done for you, we also have a list of recommended developers.
