Unlike other Woocommere products, I don’t see a way to do a redirect after adding a ticket to the cart.

We are using Event Tickets Plus to sell craft product classes, and once a customer purchases a class, we want to redirect them to the catalog of projects.

    Hi, Jena.

We have this snippet for redirecting to the Checkout after adding a ticket:

If you’re instead wanting to redirect after completing checkout, that’s a more generic solution that you can find. http://businessbloomer.com/resolved-woocommerce-redirect-custom-thank-page/ might work for you (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us).

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/implementing-custom-code-snippets/ for how to implement custom code snippets.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

We want to use Event Tickets Plus to sell tickets for craft classes. We need to force customers to pick both a class and a project to make in that class.

What we want to do is redirect customers to a project page after they add the ticket to their cart. If we send them to the cart, they almost always purchase the ticket without a project (even though we tell them not to). Sending them straight to checkout is even worse.

There are hundreds of projects, many of which have multiple options, so it’s not practical to somehow combine the class and project choices together on the event page.

There are a number of ways to do redirects with normal Woocommerce products, and we can combine multiple products into one purchase, but the Plus tickets seem not to be treated as Woocommerce products. We own Event Tickets Plus but are unable to use it.

Instead, we make simple events and link each event to its own manually-created Woocommerce product to create the ticket. Then, we can do redirects from those product pages page to the projects.

Jena, would all tickets from all events added to the EDD cart be redirected to a single page or does each ticket on each event need to redirect to different project pages?

There are three categories of classes, which would each redirect to its own projects page.
