ParticipantHi
Ive read a reply on this but it’s not quite the same as we’d like to do. We use a membership plugin and Im trying to tie up all our seperate member options onto one ‘control panel’ type page so when a member logs in they have tab options to Add a post, Edit their company profile or Add/Edit an event.
I have not purchased this add-on yet as I want to ensure it meets our needs, but is it possible to embed the submit form onto a page with other items on it, or make it appear as a pop-up window?
Thanks

BlockedHi Grant,
It’s great to hear from you and thanks for considering the Community Events add-on.Ā It would be a little bit complicated to integrate the events submission form with another membership plugin and a solution for that is unfortunately a bit beyond the scope of the support we’re able to provide here.
An alternate solution to consider is placing a “Submit Event” button to the user’s control panel that will re-direct to that page. If you’re able to customize your membership plugin’s user page, it might not be too difficult to create a button like that and when clicked, will display the event submission page in a pop-up window. I suspect there are a few tutorials out there that will help you get on the right track to implement that solution.
I’m sorry that I couldn’t’ help further with that. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,

ParticipantThanks – that sounds like a possible solution.

ParticipantI have another question regarding this – is is possible to embed a list of events of one user into another page?
We’d like to have a page for each member with this company information, news, vacancies and events. This would be in the form of tabs or a linked button (so a hyperlink for each members events would be ok).
Thanks

BlockedHey there again! š
Sure, this is possible. You should look into using theĀ tribe_get_eventsĀ to create a loop for displaying the specific information you’re interested in. It accepts a number of different parameters including all of those used by get_post.Ā So with those options, you should be able to create a loop that displays eventsĀ submitted by a specific user.
Let me know if you have any other questions or if I can help with anything else.
Kind Regards,
