ParticipantI finally updated to 3.x. Things are looking great. Nice job. 🙂
I’ve noticed a bit of an oddity in the Calendar View. Of course, I’d like each event “tool tip” to pop up when a user hovers their cursor over an event in the calendar. But, it doesn’t. I’m almost positive this is, again, a theme issue. I use Suffusion, heavily modified, and I’d be willing to switch if I could find a single theme that looks anything like the custom look that I’ve got going, but I haven’t found one. So, the tool tip doesn’t work, BUT, if I advance one month using the links at the bottom left and right of the calendar, and then backup one month using the same links, the event is displayed correctly, the tool tip works, and the issue is resolved.
I’d love to have this fixed, but I’m mainly writing this post to let you know that I think (emphasize “think”), that I might have found a bug. Or, not. I hardly code, so I don’t know. Anyway, check it out, if you’d like. And, if you happen to know a fix for me, then that’d be swell. 🙂
Thanks again and great work on the update.

ParticipantHey Michael,
This sounds a bit familiar to me, but I’m going to pass you over to the The Events Calendar PRO forum since you’re an existing customer.
In the meantime, you can check out Our Bug Hunting Roadmap https://theeventscalendar.com/bug-hunting/ to see if what you’re experiencing has been logged over there. And you might find this helpful too https://theeventscalendar.com/stop-tooltip-from-obscuring-event-title/. It sounds at lot like what you’ve described.
Thanks for letting us know!

ParticipantHi Barry. I’m not exactly sure what you are asking. Are you wondering how I’m getting into these forums? If so, I’m an active license holder with a question, so I used my login to post a question. That doesn’t seem likely to be your question, so I’ll assume you mean have I had any luck getting help with my question so far. I have not, so far. But, I’m not overly concerned about it, I figured y’all are just busy. I’m still waiting for an answer, or some sort of help, if possible. Thanks.

MemberOK, well thank you for your patience so far. Are you comfortable setting up custom CSS rules and a custom tribe-events/tribe-events.css stylesheet within your theme (our Themer’s Guide outlines the process)?
If you are able to go ahead and do that and then add the following rule the issue with tooltips ought to be solved:
.tribe-events-calendar .tribe_events.post { overflow: visible; }Do let me know if anything’s unclear or if you hit any stumbling blocks.
Thanks!
