Plugin for events sold through WooCommerce

Hi There

I am building a website which sells walking tours (I’m not a developer) on WordPress using Woocommerce. I need a plugin that will facilitate bookings for the tours that are sold through Woocommerce. I have downloaded the free version of The Events Calendar….do I need the WooTicket plugin as well? Or will the free version integrate with Woocommerce?

What do you guys recommend?

In order to sell tickets to the walking tours via WooCommerce, you will also need to purchase the WooCommece Tickets plugin to handle the creation of the tickets.

Thanks for getting back to me Josh. I just noticed that WooTickets don’t support recurring events. Our tours will run say every Thursday and Saturday in a particular location and then say every Friday in another location. We may wish to block out a particular individual date as sold or unavailable too. If we have say 4 or 6 different tours on different weekdays would I need to set them all up manually?

Thanks for following up with us.

Yes, as it stands right now you would have to create each event individually since recurring events aren’t currently supported in WooCommerce Tickets.

That being said, support for recurring events and our WooCommerce Tickets plugin is currently in active development and is currently in the queue to be released with the next update of the plugin early next year. So, barring any issues with development or Quality Assurance, it should be released pretty soon.
