ParticipantHi evertpensado,
What exactly are you having issues with?
Looks like your theme is outputting some invalid HTML markup. I am not sure if fixing that would solve your issues, but it would be a start. I suspect your theme calls wp_footer() after the closing tag. Take a look at your footer.php file and move the wp_footer() call (together with the php opening and closing tags) right above the closing tag.

ParticipantSorry, looks like my html tags were removed so I will try again:
I suspect your theme calls wp_footer() after the closing “html” tag. Take a look at your footer.php file and move the wp_footer() call (together with the php opening and closing tags) right above the closing “body” tag.

ParticipantThanks for your help, enollo!
evertpensado, did enollo’s solution do the trick?

ParticipantThanks. That’s the problem. I don’t actually have a footer and header php. on my theme. I don’t code. I use a photoshop plug in, named Sitegrinder. It doesn’t generate a header ando footer php, i guess because is old, and maybe was build for an older wordpress. Can you help me to make my theme ready for The events calendar fully compatibility. I guess that goes for all jquary or ajax stuff, too. I can send you all my theme files or whatever you need. I’m a graphics designer.

ParticipantHi, evertpensado. It sounds like having a freelancer help you out is definitely what the doctor orders.
Here’s a brief list of developers (in no particular order) that we can vouch for that you might want to get in touch with:
- Tamara Zuk @ Enollo (http://enollo.com/) She charges a minimum of $75, which assumes 1.5 hours of development work.
- WerkPress (http://www.werkpress.com) They prefer customization-based projects at a minimum of $500-800.
- Chris Miller (http://launchbrigade.com) They require a $125 consultation before providing an estimate!
- Nick Ciske (http://thoughtrefinery.com/) Nick’s minimum depends on type of work; for now nothing in stone. Keep in mind he used to be a dev on this team, and actually built the Community Events add-on)
- The Mighty Mo! (http://www.themightymo.com/) Their small projects are in the $500-1,000 range and go up from there.
- Donald Grover (http://groverwebdesign.com/) His minimum project amount is $1500.
- Drew Poland (http://www.iheartargyle.com/) Drew’s minimum is at least 1 hour of work @ $125
If you need a cheaper solution, you might check out some of these listings:
- the professionals list at CodePoet http://directory.codepoet.com/browse/
- WordPress Jobs section: http://jobs.wordpress.net/
Hopefully, the above will help you find someone to work on your site. Good luck! 🙂

ParticipantHi evertpensado,
For some people learning coding is not hard, but it is also not an overnight process. I would say it would take at least a couple of months before you feel comfortable enough to dive into your code.
Here are some sites I have used in the past or that I suggest to my interns:
http://www.codecademy.com
https://www.udacity.com
http://teamtreehouse.com
http://learnable.com (they also give you access to some great SitePoint books if you join)If you are comfortable with CSS, then I would suggest instead using a starter theme and just adjusting the styles to match your PSD mockups. Some great starter themes are:
You can find more by searching “WordPress Starter Themes” but note that a lot of them are aimed at developers.
I hope that helps,
Tamara
