Plugin disappeared from WordPress

Hi

I set up The Events Calendar using the free core version on our development site. I went on vacation for a few weeks and when I came back to work on the site, the plugin had disappeared. I got our IT guys to check on the server if it had been deleted but he could find no clue.

Once I reinstalled the plugin, all was back to normal and the calendar was visible again.

No one else would have worked on the site while I was away so I’m just wondering if you know whether this has been an issue before.

Hello Again,

This is the first I have heard of it. I have not heard of plugins deleting themselves.

If it keeps happening I would look at the server then the plugin as the plugin does not have the capability to delete itself, but we can troubleshoot it as well if it does.
