Been using free events plugin and now purchased pro to have recurring events… I have some css tweeks that always get overwritten when I update events calendar, how can I avoid this?

Good evening Timo and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about your CSS tweaks being deleted every time there is an update.
I would love to help you with this topic.

There are a couple of ways to handle this:

    1. Put your CSS tweaks in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
    2. Put your CSS tweaks in the style.css of a child theme
    3. Using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
