ParticipantWhen my school began using EC with iCal Importer in August, we found that there was a bug released with the latest version that did not adjust for timezones, UTC, in the ICS feeds. Looks like the same problem exists here.
I did learn my lesson and I’m thoroughly testing the new 4.3 release and EA (forums indicate this is a VERY buggy release) locally before applying any changes to my production site. I’m running the latest WP, theme 2016 and TEC are the only plugins I’ve got installed.
This is the link to the feed, http://api.serviceu.com/rest/events/occurrences?departmentIds=69388&nextDays=300&orgKey=d2ce7f80-931f-44f2-ad5f-d994c0997643&format=iCal.
Please advise. And, please include a timeframe on when a fix might be released.
Thank you.

MemberHi Teri. I’m glad you’re taking the recommended precautions about updating your sites. Sorry especially about the DST bug that should be fixed soon (I know sooner is better in this case and they’re working hard on it).
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Teri,
We wanted to let you know that we were unable to get a fix for this issue in the latest maintenance release that we shipped this week. Our team did spend a considerable amount of time looking into the issue of Daylight Savings Time not being taken into consideration with an iCal file export but were unable to replicate the issue after many repeated and individual tests.
We are still interested in pinpointing why the behavior exists in this case but it will take some more digging to properly diagnose whether the issue exists in all cases before we can plan a release for a solution.
In the meantime, we would really appreciate it if you would update your plugins to the latest versions and test whether the issue persists. If it does, then it would be great if you could run through the steps outlined in this guide and let us know if you notice and difference in behavior when your site (or a separate test site, ideally) is in a default WordPress environment.
Thanks so much for bearing with us while we work on this together.
Geoff

MemberHi there!
Just wanted to share with you that there’s been an update to our Event Aggregator service which includes a fix for this issue.
There’s no need to update any plugins to make this work, as it works from our side. Just use the Event Aggregator service as you’d normally do.
Please let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,
