Please fix the [list_venues] shortcode

This is potentially a nice feature, since viewers would naturally want to select a venue and see all upcoming events, or simply to check on the address or telephone number or get a map. But unfortunately, the [list_venues] shortcode omits a key piece of functionality to make it useful: presenting the venue names in alphabetical order. If you have a long list of venues, it’s very irritating to have to visually search through them to find what you are looking for. This makes your web site look really dumb, and really there is no good excuse for presenting the information this way.

Since this is such an obvious requirement, it doesn’t make sense to ask all your users to go do some esoteric code modifications to fix it. Much better for Modern Tribe address this in one place, once and for all. Could Modern Tribe please fix this oversight? Thanks Gene

We’ve got a plugin which can be downloaded here that does exactly what you’re looking for! I just tested it myself and by using the default shortcode [list_venues] I was able to get an alphabetical list of my venues as expected.
