Following on from this topic, we have the exact same question.

Courtney’s suggestion does not really apply, it doesn’t answer the OP’s question (or ours) I don’t think.

She’s showing how to highlight a “Featured” event on a different page, using a shortcode.

It’s not possible to insert shortcode into the top of /events/ page anyway (?) so I don’t see how Courtney’s suggestion helps? Unless I’ve missed something !

The OP, and we, are asking how to Pin an event post to the top of the list in List view?

On a blog post this would be Publish -> Visibility -> “Stick this post to the front page” – it stays at the top, regardless of month.

Is there a way?

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that topic.

What Courtney suggested is a way you can use the tribe_events shortcode to only show featured events. Unfortunately, there is no built in way to accomplish what you are looking for.

You could achieve that but would involve some custom coding. As a reference, you can use one of the methods described in our themers guide to accomplish that > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
