Fatal error accessing admin with PHP7

We are suddenly seeing this issue after updating to the latest version of the plugin – it’s been running fine on PHP7 for quite a number of months. That’s pretty odd.

Any idea when PHP 7 compatibility might be advancing – that post mentioned above is a year old.

I’m not sure why that year-old thread didn’t get logged, but I just logged the bug internally.

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

To help provide our developers extra information, could you please share your System Information?

I heard from our developers that they did look into this last year but couldn’t reproduce it so they won’t be able to look into this further without your System Information report.
