Thanks for creating a separate thread for your issue and sorry to see you’re here under the circumstances. Are you using “Skeleton Styles” under Events > Settings > Display? If so, the issue you’re referring to is a known bug which we have plans to address in an upcoming maintenance release.
I tested to see if I had issues with either “Full Styles” and “Tribe Events Styles” options but everything appeared to work correctly for me. If you are experiencing a conflict when using either of these options, please review the Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out.

ParticipantRight: Skeleton styles is the only way it happens.
Unfortunately, we can’t use the Full or Tribe styles, because they conflict with our design.
Skeleton styles used to give us edge to edge masonry/pinterest style calendar items. But now, when selected, opacity hides the events, and also columns don’t work at all You can still hover over the left “column” of empty space and drag to find and briefly make individual events appear. But they form a single column, and don’t span the full width anymore.

Thank you for the detailed response. We have a bug logged resembling what you’ve described, so I’ve added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available nor a workaround in the meantime other than downgrading until we can get things patched up, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information.
