ParticipantHappy new year to everyone!
I hope that someone can help me with the following issue:
The “Photo View” works great when I open the events page on my desktop computer.
But when I open the page on an IPad/Iphone (with Chrome or Safari), I can just see the header and the title “Kommende Veranstaltungen”, but no events show up. The list view works fine.
Sometimes in the “Photo View” the events show up when I switch to list view and then back to the photo view.
But not every time – I can’t see a pattern here. Most of the time I can see no events.
When I open the “Photo View” with an Android device, everything looks fine. But not with an IPad or Iphone.
I have deactivated all other plugins and reverted to the Twenty Fourteen theme, but still the same.Screenshots here:

Thank you very much for you amazing work.

MemberHey Jan, thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums! I’m stoked to hear you’re loving the plugins so far and appreciate the kind words. 🙂
You know, we did just come across something last week where Photo View will not display properly if Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus are installed and activated. However, it looks as though neither of those plugins are currently installed on your site–is that true? Or are the plugins active?
Once those plugins are deactivated, I do see that Photo View appears to work normally on both Safari and Mobile Safari–at least when testing on my test site.
Let me know if either Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus are on the site and we can go from there. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Geoff,
thank you very much for your reply and taking the time!
You’re right, I don’t have the plugins Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus installed.
But I just made a test with a fresh wordpress installation and just two plugins, “The Events Calendar” and the “The Events Calendar PRO” being installed.
With this fresh installation the photo view worked like a charme, also on my apple devices.
I just can’t understand why it is not working on my other site although I have all plugins deactivated and a default theme activated. I will dive into it again… 😉
Greetings

MemberThat’s interesting!
If you’re still digging in, I would suggest installing the same plugins on the test site that are on the live site, one by one and re-checking each time a new one is installed and activated. That will hopefully reveal the culprit. 🙂

MemberHey Lukas (and Jan),
This is indeed an issue and we have a fix for it slated in our next release, which we expect to ship the middle of next week, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
I’ve marked this thread and will follow-up with you when that’s available.
Thanks,

ParticipantHello Geoff (and Lukas),
that are great news, that you have a fix for this issue.
I was not able to find the cause for this problem. I wrote about not having this problem with a fresh wordpress installation a few weeks ago. But when I installed wordpress the next time I had the same problem again. So I had decided to use the list view until now. I’m looking forward to the next release.
Thank you for your work.
Greetings

ParticipantHey guys
Just found another post about this and found this workaround for the problem:
Just add this CSS to the custom CSS of you template:
.tribe-events-list.tribe-events-photo #tribe-events-photo-events {
opacity: 1;
}Works for me so far..
Best regards

ParticipantHey Lukas,
thanks for sharing that!
I just tried it and it works for me so far, too.

MemberHeck yeah, that’s awesome Lukas! Thanks a ton for sharing that–hopefully that won’t be needed once the next release comes out but I’m super stoked to know there is a solid workaround for it in the meantime. 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread since it seems we’re in a good place, but I’ll be sure to follow-up when the new release comes out.
Cheers!

MemberHey there!
Just wanted to jump in here and let you know that we released Events Calendar PRO 4.0.6 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please check your WordPress updates, or you can also grab the latest copy by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
Thanks for your patience while we worked on this! Please feel free to open a new thread if you continue to experience the same issue or have any other questions that pop up during updating and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
