    I’m not quite sure about your question. I guess this is more a design decision and depends on the overall site aesthetics. Can you please elaborate a bit more on this? Maybe send a screenshot of this in your site, probably that will help me understand what you are trying to achieve.

    Fair enough Nico, ok what size do the the photos get reduced to at their largest size?
    Or what would you suggest I make the photo sizes to look smart etc?

    And may I throw another inquiry in please?

    Finding the calendar empty (until refreshed) – when going from another visitHadleigh page and not the Home page to What’s On (Calendar)

    Think this could have happened when we changed settings re advice to set calendar up more recently/or maybe failed to be noticed over a longer period? We changed certain page names/settings (see previous thread) on your advice — before I look around/go to WP theme comp, any thoughts?

    I’m sorry for the delay we do not monitor the forums on weekends.

    Finally getting to the original question, photo view uses the ‘medium’ image size. By default that size is 300×300 although you can change it in WP-Admin > Settings > Media > Medium size. Give this a try using 1:1 proportion for event featured images (600×600) should be ok! This will also ensure a nice big image in the single event page too.
